ARA is an ultra-high-precision field sprayer developed by Ecorobotix for crop treatment.
ARA uses six camera modules combining 3D and RGB imaging to distinguish soil, crops and weeds in real time, then fires individual nozzles from a 156-nozzle bar for a 6 x 6 cm spot. Crop-specific algorithms allow selective targeting of either the crop or the weeds; where no crop algorithm exists, "all plant" and "target size" modes are available. A bottom black protective cover limits drift.
Ecorobotix continues to add crop-specific algorithms, and offers an optional fluidic kit for connecting compatible alternative tank systems.
