04What does Verified mean?
Verified means core identity and key facts were checked against primary sources under RoboDex verification rules. It is not a safety certification or investment recommendation.
05Why is a robot Researching or Pending?
Those statuses mean the entity is still in the editorial pipeline. It may appear with limited fields until sources and review are complete.
06How does the RoboDex Score work?
Editors assess Innovation, AI, Mobility, Utility, and Design from evidence. Community ratings are separate. Scores are not based on funding, social virality, or advertising.
07Why did a score change?
Scores can change when new verified capabilities, deployments, or documentation appear — or when prior evidence is corrected. Assessment history records material revisions.
08Why do some robots have no photos?
RoboDex prefers attributable official or clearly licensed media. When none is available, a placeholder is shown instead of random internet images.
09Can I reuse images from RoboDex?
Check each image’s attribution and license. Many assets belong to manufacturers or third parties. See the Image Attribution Policy and DMCA page.
10How do I suggest a correction?

Contact RoboDex with official name, maker, public sources, and why the entity is notable. Editorial review is required before publication.
12Does RoboDex use AI?
Yes, as an assistive tool for research and drafting. AI does not silently publish catalog facts; humans remain responsible for verification.
13What is RoboDex AI on the site?
RoboDex AI is an interactive assistant for exploring the knowledge graph. Its answers are helpful starting points, not automatic dossier updates.
14How are companies linked to robots?
Each robot dossier points to a manufacturer. Company pages aggregate public robots and profile data when the company is published with public robots.
15How do technologies relate to robots?
The Technology Library documents capabilities and stacks. Links are created when evidence shows a robot uses that technology.
16What are Collections?
Collections are curated exhibits — thematic groupings such as humanoids or warehouse automation — not automatic search results.
17How often is data updated?
Updates land continuously as editors import, verify, and correct entities. There is no single daily freeze; freshness varies by dossier activity.
18Can I scrape the entire catalog?
Aggressive scraping that degrades service is not allowed under the Terms of Use. Prefer normal browsing, sitemaps, and any future documented APIs.
19Where is the Privacy Policy?
The Privacy Policy lives at /legal/privacy and covers analytics, cookies, search logs, and contact data.
