Corrections Policy

Use the Contact form (topic: Suggest a correction), or “Suggest an Update” on the page itself. Include:

• The exact page URL or entity slug
• What is wrong
• What the correct value should be
• A primary source link supporting the correction

On many dossiers you will also see “Suggest an Update” — use it for lightweight flags; complex cases still benefit from a sourced Contact form submission.

Editors check the claim against primary sources. We may accept, partially accept, or decline a correction with a short rationale when the submitted source is weaker than existing evidence.

• Intake and triage by entity type (robot, company, media, news)
• Source check against the methodology hierarchy
• Catalog update when approved
• Media or attribution fix when the issue is visual provenance

Material factual fixes are applied to the live dossier. Score changes, when evidence warrants, leave assessment history where the scoring system records revisions. RoboDex does not silently invent backdated specs to cover gaps.
